Handmade using extra virgin olive oil, ciabatta dough is slowly fermented to produce a light open centre and extra crispy crust. It takes its name from the Italian for slipper, the distinctive shape of this traditional loaf.
Ingredients: Fortified Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Thiamin (B1), Iron, Niacin (B3)), Water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil (4%), Rice Flour, Yeast, Wheat Malt Flour, Salt, Fermented Wheat Flour, Wheat Flour.
Allergens: Gluten
Best served warm | Reheat in the oven at 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7 for 8-10 mins.
Boxes and ingredients are packed in facilities that handles Peanut, Nuts, Sesame, Fish, Crustaceans, Milk, Egg, Mustard, Celery, Soya, Gluten and Sulphites. Due to the war in Ukraine, it has been necessary to substitute sunflower oil with rapeseed oil in some products without a label change. The FSA have advised that allergic reactions to rapeseed oil are rare.
