Ghanaian Peanut Stew

with Herb Couscous

We are incredibly excited to have the editor of The Vegetarian magazine, Jane Hughes in the Hello Fresh kitchen this week. She's created this fantastic dish especially for us and told us the inspiration behind it: "Versions of this rich sauce or stew are common right across West Africa - it’s sometimes called Maafe, Domodah or Nkate Nkawan. The peanut butter makes it really filling and nutritious – and a fantastic source of protein for vegetarians and vegans." Yum!

The quantities provided above are averages only.

Boxes and ingredients are packed in facilities that handles Peanut, Nuts, Sesame, Fish, Crustaceans, Milk, Egg, Mustard, Celery, Soya, Gluten and Sulphites. Due to the war in Ukraine, it has been necessary to substitute sunflower oil with rapeseed oil in some products without a label change. The FSA have advised that allergic reactions to rapeseed oil are rare.
