Instructions

1
  • Trim the carrot, then halve lengthways (no need to peel). Slice widthways into pieces about 0.5cm thick.
  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan on high heat.
  • Once hot, fry the beef and carrot, 5-6 mins.
  • Break up the mince as it cooks, then drain the fat. Season with salt and pepper. IMPORTANT: Wash hands and utensils after handling raw meat. Cook so there's no pink in the middle.
2
  • Meanwhile, boil a full kettle. Pour it into a saucepan with 0.5 tsp salt on high heat.
  • Boil the noodles, 4 mins.
  • Once cooked, drain in a sieve and run under cold water to stop them sticking together.
  • While everything's cooking, open the remaining sachets.
3
  • Stir in the mangetout, teriyaki, soy, sambal (add less if you'd prefer things milder), honey and water (see pantry for both).
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, 1-2 mins.
  • Add the cooked noodles and stir to coat, 1-2 mins.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. Add a splash of water if it's a little too thick.
4
  • Share the noodles between your serving bowls.
  • Sprinkle over the sesame seeds to finish.
  • Enjoy!
